Vijay Khanna


  • Vijay has over 15 years in main stream IT.
  • Solutions Architect at AWS
  • He has hands-on experience with programming, DataCenter Infra as Virtualization Storage and DR.
  • Since last 4 years he has been working on Orchestration, Private Cloud and Cloud Solutions based on AWS and GCP
  • He has spent 5 years in some of the remotest parts of Rural India, working with various NGO's on Climate Change and Watershed projects.

Containers : Building Microservices on AWS Cloud


The session starts with the basics of Containers, Need for Container Orchestration Engines, and Need for Managed Container Orchestration platforms. It further delves into some of the good practices when deploying Containers as 12 factor app, Container Security and Application tracing using Envoy proxy and Istio. A demo covering CICD using Containers and Application tracing using Istio / X-Ray would conclude the session.
